Reed is an author, podcast host, and campus minister who explores the literary nature of the Bible, as well as where the craft of writing and the act of preaching meet. His deep gladness is to open up spaces where people can curiously engage questions of the faith while still being compelled to pursue lives of faithfulness.

He is a co-host of The Bema Podcast and the director of Campus Christian Fellowship at Truman State University in Missouri, and he regularly posts sermon manuscripts and other writings on Substack.

His first book is The Gospel of Being Human, co-authored with Marty Solomon.
